The Picking Prevention Checklist

Things to do and not to do to best serve me in my recovery.

1) Keep clean and oil-free

2) Don't stress, keep calm.

3) Take notice of where and when you feel the impulse to pick. (Crowded and loud environments, at night, when upset.)

4) Keep a rubber band on your wrist. Making fun shapes, when you're bored will help reduce the impulses to pick.

5) Limit caffeine intake. Too much caffeine makes for jittery hands, which is something we don't want.

6) Pray Daily.
